I've been working on this piece for a couple of days, changing it, repainting it, adding and removing parts of it, searching for the right composition to tell you a story of desolation, grief, longing, solitude, love and death. A story of farewells and remembrance. It's about paying tribute to the past, facing the future and embracing the inevitable.
